Aesthetic Restorations
A restoration is a general term for any form of material that improves
the function and/or appearance of a tooth or teeth. An appealing smile
is an important part of the overall impression a person makes to the
world. It is an important social asset, makes a person more appealing
to people of the opposite sex and helps a persons chances for
career success. Someone with a beautiful smile is always remembered!

Porcelain Veneers
Cosmetic dentistry can easily correct a space between one or more teeth
with porcelain veneers. A porcelain veneer is a very thin layer that
is affixed to the surface of your own tooth to enhance the shape, color,
length or size of the tooth. The veneer is custom-made from a model
of your tooth. You will be unable to detect any difference in the appearance
of porcelain veneers and your own natural teeth.

Composite Bonding
Composite Bonding is a process where durable, enamel-like material is
applied to a tooth. The material is then sculpted to an ideal shape,
hardened and then polished to a natural looking luster. You may discover
that your teeth have shifted, become crowded or crooked as time has
passed. Composite bonding is a great alternative to conventional orthodontics
to improve the alignment of teeth.. This procedure can be completed
in one appointment.

Porcelain Crowns
Teeth wear down as we age. The process can be accelerated if you grind
your teeth while you sleep or have any TMJ (jaw joint) problems. A porcelain
crown is a tooth-shaped restoration that surrounds all sides of a natural
tooth and ends under the gum line. A crown strengthens the tooth. Porcelain
crowns are custom-made from a model of your own tooth and then artfully
designed in a laboratory. The crown is permanently placed with an adhesive
that lasts a lifetime. Your teeth will be restored to their natural
size, shape and color.

Bonded Porcelain or Composite
Restorations
These procedures are perfect for the person who has faithfully gone
to the dentist for years and over time has accumulated a mouthful of
dark, unattractive, amalgam silver fillings. Now, years
later you hate them! You are glad you have taken care of your teeth
but wish you had your white, natural looking teeth back again. These
areas may be restored with either a porcelain material or specially
fabricated composite materials. Their strength and durability exceed
that of common metal fillings.

Bridges
Missing teeth can cause problems such as headaches, the need for orthodontic
treatment, periodontal disease which in turn can cause the removal of
surrounding teeth. Fixed bridges have been used to replace missing teeth
for decades and still are the preferred choice of many patients. For
replacing a single missing tooth, a porcelain bridge is permanently
attached to the surrounding natural teeth. In a situation where more
than one tooth is missing, a conventional bridge is used. It is constructed
of natural looking porcelain fused to the top of a strong new material.
Using a space-age adhesive technology, a bridge provides a strong, beautiful,
natural appearance.

Dental Implants
Open spaces in your mouth caused by missing teeth destroy the continuity
of your smile. You may be unaware that this could be the least of your
problems. Open spaces may cause the surrounding teeth to twist, drift
or distort your bite. Dental implants are a versatile, artificial substitute
for natural tooth roots. They are placed in your jawbone to form a foundation
that supports replacement teeth. Some patients prefer an implant to
replace a single missing tooth, avoiding altering adjacent natural teeth.
